By fashitect In Holiday, Hotels, Travel, Turkey

Planning a trip to Turkey or you’re next discovery? If you’re looking an adventure
besides the city, discover Mugla Province, situated southwestern Turkey on the Aegean Sea.
An unforgettable experience of culture, vibrant turquoise Coasts, and natural landscapes.
We road tripped along the sea and cliffs, from Fethiye, Ortaca, Marmaris, Mentese &
Bodrum to show you the highlights, most instagrammable locations, picturesque beaches,
significant historical sites and of course the most luxurious 5 Star Resorts at each location.

Address: Güzgülü Mevkii, 48300 Fethiye/Muğla Province, Turkey

One hour from Dalaman Airport, we arrived at Orka Sunlife Resort & Spa,
located in Fethiye, Mugla. Embedded in the cliffs, overlooking the Oludeniz
Town & Beach and perhaps the most spacious hotel and villas, not to mention
the humongous swimming pool and slides. This place is definitely worth
discovering, especially when you’ll find me at 7:30am for the buffet breakfast.
Babadag Mountain Paragliding: For the adrenaline junkie, training in advance is
definitely needed if you’re thinking about this experience. It’s surreal to find
a gradient slope for the paraglider to run off from at the top of the mountain.
Quite the mesmerising view of the people floating in the air, humans can fly after all!
Fethiye Marina: Everything you’ll expect, restaurants, yachts and views to explore
Dalaman Thermal Water: This location is surreal, you don’t even need to put a filter
on this place. The mint turquoise stream is naturally heated, definitely a pinch yourself and take
as much selfies kind of moment.

Address: Maras Mah. 114 SOK. NO:12, Dalyan Ortaca, 48840, Turkey

Dalyan Resort Hotel: You get a real sense of nature with the fragrant scents of
plants, greenery and the sound of birds. The local stream with organically
grown resources like pomegranate, oranges and vegetables are used in this hotel.
With palm trees, mountains to swimming pools and balcony views of the courtyard
communal areas, there is a real outdoors feel with their outdoor gardens.
Iztuzu Turtle Beach: A boat ride is best advised to get here. Perhaps best to
check when the turtles are in season and busy times. (May seems to be quiet)
Lycian Rock Tomb Fethiye- These tombs were built into the side of the mountain
so that ancient angels could reach the dead. Designed in the 4th Century,
many of the numerous entryways are adorned with tall Romanesque columns and
intricate reliefs.
Dalyan Boat Trip: Depending on the tour, you will go along the stream, with
views of the mountains, Lycian Rock Tombs and the Iztuzu Turtle Beach. It’s
great to experience the outdoors, one of the touristy check lists for you.

Address: Siteler Mahallesi, Cumhuriyet Blv. No:9, 48700 Marmaris/Muğla, Turkey

Kizumu Beach: Every year thousands of people travel to Marmaris Kizkumu Beach
to experience walking on water. Kizkumu Beach is located in the Orhaniye Bay,
25 km away from Marmaris. The Beach is a popular spot for jeep safari companies,
who also stop at the closeby waterfall in Turgut village. You can literally walk on water.
Marmaris Bazaar: Markets, fake designer goods, local produce. If you’re looking
for many restaurants on the docks, there are endless food locations. Great for
night walks too! Great for the mix of shopping, eating and exploring by foot.
Sentido Orka Lotus Beach: You can never get bored of beaches. If I had more time
I would definitely recommend this Hotel. Situated with such an amazing view, many
services and metres of the beach. I can see why this is a popular hotel.

Address: Emirbeyazıt Mahallesi, Cumhuriyet Cd. No:4, 48000 Menteşe/Muğla, Turkey

Hecate Lagina: An ancient settlement remains of 2nd century BCE Ionic temple which
measured 25m by 18m and had 11 by 8 Columns. The foundations have the stumps of columns,
but all the friezes have been taken to the Istanbul Archaeological museum where
they are set up in a temple like metal frame for better viewing. A big adult playground
to explore, best advised to wear practical shoes and discover the historic events of the past.

Address: ümbet Mahallesi, Adnan Menderes caddesi, No:63, 48400 Muğla, Turkey

Worlds of Wonders Resort: Located on the cliffs, overlooking the villas, apartments
and beige Beach Architecture. Perhaps the best Resort I have stayed at, located in Bodrum.
Gumbets Beach: Metres from the Resort, some parts of private for hotel users only.
Feel relaxed, with entertainment, to sunbeads, jet-skis and watersports. Go snorkelling,
party at night time and enjoy your holiday!
Bodrum Castle: Built in 1402. If you’re looking for another historic site to visit,
Bodrum showcases the archaeological museum of underwater. Located on the docks, where
restaurants, tourists and everything you need in one area to explore.
