The story behind the Mr. Burberry Fragrance & Grooming Range

Being a gentleman not only means to take the lead, but a confident guy is someone who knows where he stands in this world. I am proud to be a British citizen and growing up in London, a city of opportunities has lead me to where I am today. If you believe in yourself, others are convinced and will believe in you too; a role model to others. Life is to be lived and learning is a developing stage, whether you like a new challenge or take that risk, then you are a person who will keep on trying. Burberry has built that iconic foundation and has just launched the new fragrance and grooming Range. Mr. Burberry signifies the modern day gentleman, the explorer, the business man, the social butterfly, but what is Mr. without the Mrs. Taking the editorial to the streets of London, where the renaissance Architecture, palladium facades and British Transportation, for an adventure around the city I call home. Fusing the worlds of fashion and beauty, the launch of Mr. Burberry is celebrated with a read-to-wear collection including the new Chelsea fit Heritage Trench Coat. Capturing the essence of the new men’s fragrance, the edit pays tribute to classic tailoring with a sense of relaxed, quintessentially British style and attitude. For this I combined the mix of Sartorial tailoring with the modern day Biker Jacket for that edge off the cliff.

THE BOTTLE DESIGN

The bottle is inspired by the iconic black trench coat and its signature design details. Bold and masculine, the weighted cap references horn-look boots, while a hand-tied knot in English-woven black gabardine sits around the neck, celebrating the innovation fabric invented by Thomas Burberry more than 100 years ago.

THE FRAGRANCE INGREDIENTS

TOP: GRAPEFRUIT, TARRAGON, CARDAMOM
Sensual and elegant with a striking brightness, Mr. Burberry sets the tone with uplifting grapefruit. Establishing a halo of masculinity that permeates through the fragrance, the introduction of cardamom contributes complexity and sophistication with its spicy facet.

HEART: BIRCH LEAF, NUTMEG OIL, CEDAR WOOD
A broad and robust heart and centres Mr. Burberry, its classic fouler structure uniquely remastered into a thoroughly contemporary creation. An accord of birch leaf warms the core while cedar wood provides power and balance to the livelier top notes

BASE: VETIVER, GUAIAC WOOD, SANDALWOOD
The light and luminous base is a creation of vetiver’s vibrant allure. Layered with guaiac wood, out graduates into a richly smokey scent without ever compromising its clean, earthy codes
